Inhibitory effect of pentamidine on human ovarian cancer CAOV3 cells

Inhibition of pentamidine on human ovarian cancer CAOV3 cells. Methods Colorimetric assay was used to detect the inhibitory effect of different concentrations of pentamidine on human ovarian cancer CAOV3 cells. Results Low concentration of pentamidine had a slight inhibitory effect on human ovarian cancer CAOV3 cells. High concentration of pentamidine inhibited human ovarian cancer CAOV3 cells, and it was closely related to the action time. Conclusion The growth of ovarian cancer CAOV3 cells was significantly inhibited after treatment with different concentrations of pentamidine, and the inhibition was time- and concentration-dependent.
